Our inventive mounting system** combined with an excellent proven product from Nose Cone Mfg Company allows for a major reduction in air drag on intermodal containers. Once installed on the container, this new and innovative system can be lifted by a top lift for any normal movement. Up fitted containers can be placed in a stack for storage, placed on a chassis for transport or placed on a rail car for cross country travel. There is no need to remove the assembly throughout the delivery cycle. Hall-N-Binz Inc. has tested this unit on a regional container truck in all possible conditions from severe wind in the Columbia Gorge to rain and hail on I-5.
The assembly is light weight (approximately 33 lb.) and can be handled easily by one person.
